Christmas is in the air and what would the Advent season be without the delicious smell of freshly baked vanilla crescents? But not all crescents are the same. A recent test by Stiftung Warentest<\/a> shows this: our Demeter-quality spelt vanilla crescents not only impress with their authentic taste, but in this case also with their very low acrylamide content – the lowest of all 11 vanilla crescents tested.<\/p>\n

What makes our vanilla crescents so special?<\/h2>\n

  1. Demeter quality:
    \nOur crescents are made from ingredients that meet the strict Demeter guidelines. This means that they come from biodynamic cultivation – one of the most environmentally friendly cultivation systems. This means that we not only guarantee the highest quality, but also a careful approach to nature.<\/li>\n
  2. Spelt:
    \nWe rely on spelt flour, which gives the croissants a nutty note and ensures a wonderfully tender texture.<\/li>\n
  3. Natural bourbon vanilla:
    \nOur vanilla crescents are refined with real bourbon vanilla. No artificial flavoring – only the best from nature for an authentic and fine vanilla taste.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Lowest acrylamide content<\/h2>\n

    Acrylamide is practically always produced in the oven when dough made from carbohydrate-rich ingredients such as wheat flour and sugar is baked at temperatures above 120 degrees Celsius. This cannot be completely avoided. Because acrylamide is suspected of being harmful to health, there are legally prescribed guide values. Thanks to our gentle production methods and carefully selected raw materials, Stiftung Warentest was able to prove that our crescents have the lowest acrylamide content – with all the taste!<\/p>\n

    Our aim is to offer delicious Christmas treats. The recognition by Stiftung Warentest is a confirmation of our work and proof that enjoyment and (organic) quality can go hand in hand.<\/p>\n
