Last Saturday, our colleagues Lisa and Brinja attended World Coeliac Day in the hanseatic city of L\u00fcbeck. The event gave people with coeliac disease, their families, interested members of the public and exhibitors the opportunity to connect with one another, share experiences and discover new gluten-free products. It was a great pleasure for us to be part of this special day and to showcase our gluten-free organic products.<\/p>\n
Coeliac disease is a chronic autoimmune disorder in which the body reacts to gluten. Gluten is a protein found in wheat, rye, barley, and spelt, among other grains. In people with coeliac disease, consuming gluten leads to inflammation of the small intestine lining, preventing nutrients from being properly absorbed. Symptoms can vary widely \u2014from abdominal pain, fatigue and digestive issues to nutrient deficiencies or long-term health problems. For those affected, this means that a strictly gluten-free diet is not a matter of personal choice or a trend, but a medical necessity. This makes it all the more important to have options that combine safety, enjoyment and quality.<\/p>\n
Anyone who follows a gluten-free diet knows the challenges of everyday life: limited choices, uncertainty about ingredients and often the feeling of having to sacrifice taste. But a gluten-free diet should be one thing above all else \u2014 simple and delicious. That\u2019s exactly where we want to start. We are convinced that gluten-free products don\u2019t just have to be functional, they can also offer genuine enjoyment. At the same time, we place great importance on high-quality ingredients and mindful production. That\u2019s why our products are not only gluten-free, but always organic and vegan as well. For us, gluten-free doesn\u2019t mean sacrifice, it means the opportunity to break new ground and show just how diverse modern baking can be.<\/p>\n
World Coeliac Day in L\u00fcbeck was a resounding success for us. The direct interaction with visitors was particularly rewarding. Many people shared their personal stories with us, asked questions or simply took the opportunity to sample our products. Events like these consistently demonstrate how important community and visibility are for people with celiac disease. At the same time, they motivate us to continue our work and make gluten-free products even more accessible and enjoyable. Another special highlight was our two new products, which we were able to present for the first time at the event. We were very pleased with the many positive responses and the great interest shown.<\/p>\n
For ten years now, we have been baking gluten-free products with the goal of combining taste, quality and mindful eating. From the very beginning, it was clear: our products should not only be gluten-free, but also consistently organic and vegan. We rely on carefully selected ingredients, transparent production processes and recipes that demonstrate that gluten-free baking can be creative, high-quality, and delicious. World Coeliac Day has once again shown us how important this work is and how many people appreciate products they can enjoy without hesitation.
