Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. Those cookies enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit the website.

You can set your browser to inform you whenever cookies are received and to accept cookies only on a case by case basis or to reject cookies in specific cases or in general, and also to delete cookies automatically whenever you close your browser. The deactivation of cookies can limit the functionality of this website.

Cookies required in order to execute electronic communication processes or provide certain functions that you request (e.g. Shopping Basket function) are stored on the basis of art. 6, para. 1, letter f of the German General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO). The website operator has a justifiable interest in cookie storage to ensure the technically error-free and optimized provision of his services. If other cookies (e.g. cookies for the analysis of your surfing activities) are stored, they are treated separately in this Privacy Statement.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. That information comprises:

  • Browser type and version

  • Operating system used

  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing computer

  • Time of day of server request

These data are not combined with other data sources.

The basis for the data processing is art. 6, para. 1, letter f of the German General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), which authorizes the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Contact form

When you submit requests to us using a contact form, we store your information from the request form – including the contact data you entered there – for the purposes of processing your request and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass those data along to others without your consent.

This means that the data entered into the contact form are processed only on the basis of your consent (DSGVO art. 6, para. 1, letter a). You can revoke that consent at any time. An informal notification to us by e-mail suffices for this purpose. The legality of the data processing procedures performed prior to revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data that you enter in the contact form will remain in our possession until you tell us to delete them or you revoke your consent to their storage or there is no longer any reason to store the data (e.g. once your request has been completely processed). Mandatory statutory regulations – in particular, records retention periods – remain unaffected.

You can register on our website to use additional functions on the site. Any registration data entered is used solely for the purpose of the respective offer or service for which you registered. All required information requested in connection with the registration process must be entered in full. Otherwise, we will reject the registration.

Along with your comments, the comment function on this site also stores the date and time when the comment is created, your e-mail address and, if you do not post anonymously, the user name you selected.

Storage of the IP address

Our comment function stores the IP address of users who write comments. Because we do not check comments before publishing them on our site, we need those data, in order to be able to take legal action against the author in case of infringements such as libel or propaganda.

Subscribing to comments

As a user of the site, you can subscribe to comments once you have registered. You will receive a confirmation e-mail, in order to verify that you are owner of the email-address provided. You can use a link in the info e-mail to cancel this function at any time. In that case, the data entered in the context of subscribing to comments will be deleted; if you provided those data to us for other purposes and at other points (e.g. newsletter subscription), we will retain them, however.

Your comments are stored on the basis of your consent (DSGVO art. 6, para. 1, letter a). You can, at any time, revoke a consent that you have granted. An informal notification to us by e-mail suffices for this purpose. The legality of previously completed data processing procedures remains unaffected by the revocation.

We collect, process and use personal data only to the extent required for the justification, content design or modification of the legal relationship (personal data). These operations are based on art. 6, para. 1, letter b of the German General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), which authorizes the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures. We collect, process and use personal data regarding the utilization of our internet pages (usage data) only to the extent necessary to provide or bill the service to the user.

Any customer data collected will be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Statutory records retention periods remain unaffected.

Data transmittal upon contract conclusion for online ships, dealers and dispatch of goods

We transmit personal data to third parties only when required in connection with the processing of the contract, such as to the company commissioned to deliver the goods or the credit institution tasked with payment processing. No further transmittal of the data occurs without your explicit authorization. Your data will not be passed along to any third parties without your explicit consent, such as for advertising purposes.

The basis for the data processing is art. 6, para. 1, letter b of the German General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), which authorizes the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.
