Bio-Ost 2025

Last Sunday, the Bio-Ost trade fair opened its doors in Leipzig – and we were part of it! Our booth was buzzing with energy, great conversations, and a lot of excitement. The atmosphere? Absolutely amazing! Thanks to our colleagues Nicole and Helge who managed our stand with a lot of heart, charm and enthusiasm – and as you can see in the photo, they had a lot of fun!

Gluten-free highlights

A particular highlight of the trade fair was the presentation of our new gluten-free products. The gluten-free Taralli celebrated their trade fair debut at Bio-Ost – crispy, savory and of course in the best organic quality, as you would expect from us. Also on show were tried-and-tested classics such as our gluten-free chocolate & cashew cookies and our gluten-free crackers. Whether sweet or savory, there was guaranteed to be something for everyone to snack and nibble on.

Wonderful conversations

We were thrilled to see how many people stopped by to taste, ask questions, and share their feedback. Our tasting bowls were in constant use, and we had many great chats with visitors, retailers, and fellow exhibitors. The overwhelmingly positive response to the flavor, diversity, and thoughtful design of our products truly made our day. By now, our entire range shines in a new, modern design. We think it’s a complete success, both visually and in terms of content.

A big thank you goes to our dedicated trade fair team Nicole and Helge. We also want to thank the organizers of Bio-Ost for putting on such a well-run event. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase what SOMMER stands for: organic, authentic baking made with love. The fair was a great success and a strong reminder that our passion for quality and creativity continues to resonate. We’re already looking forward to the next event!
