Bruschetta

Mmmh Bruschetta, delicious! The perfect snack for a warm summer evening and a vacation feeling like in Italy. The base for this simple and vegan bruschetta recipe is our whole wheat rusk, which is anything but boring. All you need are just a few ingredients, some patience and a lot of hunger 🙌

Ingredients:

➝ one package wholemeal rusk
➝ 200 g cherry tomatoes
➝ 1 small onion
➝ if you like, take 1-2 more cloves of garlic
➝ vegan mozzarella cheese
➝ salt, pepper & olive oil
➝ fresh basil

Preparation:

Cut tomatoes and onion into small cubes, mozzarella into thin slices. In a bowl, mix well tomatoes, onion, a little olive oil with salt and pepper. Put about 1 tablespoon of each on a slice of rusk and garnish with a slice of mozzarella. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with some basil and place in oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 15-20 minutes. Let cool briefly and enjoy.
