Organic farming protects ecosystems

The Association of Organic Food Producers e.V. (AÖL) celebrates its 30th anniversary this year and we would like to congratulate them! As a long-time member, we would like to network with other producers and learn from each other. We would like to pass this knowledge on to you.

Every form of agriculture affects the ecosystem “nature”. Thereby it is important to respect and promote the natural interactions within this ecosystem – and to protect them. Organic farming does this, for example, by following the principles of circular economy, or adapting land use and animal husbandry to the individual location. It thus protects soil fertility, biodiversity, water and the climate. Organic farmers thereby protect the basis for our food production.
